Works Great

Walmart.com had the best price I could find. I paid extra for 3 to 5 day shipping, but received the switch the day after the order. Great service!! Followed instructions EXACTLY and installed on an HPa1320y with a Pentium 4 running Windows XP 32 bit, an HPs3100y with a Pentium running Windows Vista 32 bit, an HPa6750f with an AMD Phenom X4 running Windows 7 64 bit, and an HPp6710f with an AMD Athlon II quad-core running Windows 7 64 bit. The installation went without a hitch and works with no problem on all 4 computers. I could not test the keyboard switching because my Sejin Electronic keyboard with an integrated trackball mouse does not have a Scroll Lock key. I had to have a switch with PS2 and USB capability because my keyboard/mouse requires PS2 connection and my HPp6710f only has USB connections. I'm using the PS2 connections on the HPa1320y and USB connections on the other 3 computers.

It's okay, but not wonderful

The hook-up was easy and operation is reasonably satisfactory. However, all keyboard features won't work through it such as mute and volume control. When my W2k machine is selected, the mouse doesn't work, and only sometimes when using my Vista machine. Consequently, I need 3 mice on the table top. The W7 machine works through it fine except for mute and volume control. On balance, it's a helpful device for reducing clutter but it does add to the jungle of wires down under.

Not impressed! Easy to set up, but quit working after 2 days. Was not able to select which computer was controlled. Returned to store for refund
