big bright surface, a little flimsy

This 8'x8' tripod screen, 1.1 gain, 1:1 aspect ratio (slides), gives a beautiful image, fairly flat, fairly bright as a 6x8' 3:4 ratio image from a sub-$500 epson data grade projector. Wouldn't go much bigger (120" or 135" 16:9 screens were tempting but we don't have an HD projector yet. Note that most $450 to $3000 projectors have about 1900 to 2600 lumens, enough for a 100 to 135" screen in the dark, except LED, they have 3 to 5 times lifespan bulbs but can be dim!!) This is big enough to seem theater-like. The bad news is the tripod and retraction are not solid or well made. And the fabric keeps sliding out of the top bar when setting up or taking down. Keeping in mind that a Da-lite or Stewart in this size would be over $500, I can live w. this for 1/3 the price. Just let an adult handle it, and treat it with "kid gloves" I wonder if the M120HSR-pro Elite's professional grade manual wall hung, is any better made? I wanted that one but was told to get a tripod model (for work.) See Elite's site for coding for aspect ratio, case color, size, and fabric gain. Flimsy; good value! I think the coding for Elite (see elitescreens.c for yourself) is T136UWS1 1. T (tripod) or M (manual wall mount) 2. Diagonal in inches 3. U (for black case) or X (white case) 4. W ?? 5. S (slide, or 1:1) or V (video, 3:4 data grade, VGA, for $350-$500 480 res. data projectors) or H (HD or 16:9 for $850 and up 1080 res. projectors like the popular hd20 or 8350) or X (WXGA or 16:10, for 720 res. data grade projectors, costing $500 - $700) 6. 1 or 2 ??
