No problems; well built heavy duty cable with quality connectors. This finally allowed me to use my exetrnal hard drive in ESATA mode: several times faster than USB mode. NOTE: if your PC and external hard drive both have true ESATA connectors then you have to use a cable like this. An inexpensive internal SATA cable won't work because the connectors are keyed differently (and there are internal differences too). Likewise this cable won't work inside your PC. TIP: if your BIOS has your internal disk drives operating in "legacy IDE mode" instead of AHCI mode, you may have some complicated steps to go through (like I did) to convert to AHCI so that my ESATA port began working. Try Googling "change IDE to AHCI in BIOS" for help. Not for beginners! ESATA isn't quite as universally plug and play as USB, not yet anyway. Good luck!
