These tires are much more like the heavy sidewall tires you used to get long ago. They don't fold up into a little ball- they're too thick for that- which is a good thing. Used them for the first time this weekend and they performed great. They roll much easier and are much quieter than my previous semi-nobby tires. Rolling downhill at 30 mph, they were perfectly smooth- no vibration, no noise.. They also offered adequate grip on loose dirt and gravel. Very satisfied.
