Delta Arvo 14 Series Shower Trim - 142840-SP-I - Spotshield Brushed Nickel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knob in our downstairs shower literally snapped off one day when my husband was attempting to turn it on. We’ve had bad luck with cheap shower/bath equipment lately so this wasn’t much of a surprise, but it was certainly frustrating. When we came across the Delta Arvo 14 Series in matte black, we were pleased with the look and feel of product. It feels durable and solid. Installation was a breeze for my husband as he’s quite handy. He had it done within a few hours. The longest part was cutting out the drywall to get to everything. The product itself is wonderful! The two-in-one shower features a detachable handheld sprayer that seamlessly snaps in and out of the shower head as needed. The handheld sprayer has three settings, plus a pause feature (which is perfect when shaving). The best part is that when you switch back or “unpause” the shower, the water is still warm! There’s no cold blast that other shower heads leave after switching the water back on. The shower heads also has three settings, plus the ability to pause. The description says that all “Delta WaterSense labeled faucets, showers, and toilets use at least 20% less water than the industry standard.” I find this interesting because I didn’t think this was a low-flow shower head, which I was very pleased about. I’ve experienced “water-saving” low flow plumbing fixtures and quite frankly, they suck. The Delta Arvo 14 Series certainly does not lack in the pressure department so the fact that they claim to be using less water yet still have superb pressure is just another reason to purchase this product. We haven’t experienced a single problem and are very, very pleased with our new shower!
