These mats are awesome! They are not too thick or too thin. I think they would be perfect for in front of a workbench or in garage, but I did not use them that way. I bought 2 of them for less than $25.00 each (2 x 8 sized) for the ramp I built for my dog to be able to use his doggie-door as he cannot do stairs/steps. He is older %26 very small, so the ramp works great to give him back his freedom, especially when the weather is nice %26 he wants to go outside frequently (%26 on his own). I think these mats will last far longer than the last ones I had. Please see pictures %26 zoom in. The quality of these mats is really good!! The color that I got was a sort of blue/black/dark gray. It depends on where the sun is at if it looks more blue than gray on the ramp. I highly recommend these mats.
