Missing 4 screws but not a crisis, I had my own. Easy to assemble. My mailbox was too wide so I screwed it in from the inside the mailbox. Worked well. Some wabling when opening and closing the mailbox, but not critical. Expected based on the set up. This will work for the long run.

Easy assembly and great for hard ground.

Package arrived in Anchorage Alaska blemish free. Post was easy to put together, added sand and pebbles to base and set it on the ground, attached my own board to the bottom of my large locking mailbox, screwed it to top part of post and finished putting together. I added 4 extra corner brackets to each side of the base to make it sturdier as mailbox is large and ground wasn't thawed or even, thus the need for this style mailbox post -- frozen ground. It turned out great. It is securely in place and looks good.

Item was better than expected! Very well made, sturdy, easy to put together, comes with funnel to put Sand in and tools to put together. Definitely easier than digging or using cement to put a pole in. I purchased an X-Large mailbox and it fit just fine. Leveled the ground and placed the post on bricks for a more solid surface. Highly recommend!
