Easy, effective, extra large compared to regular mouse traps. The bait is put in a small pocket which you unlock from the bottom of the trap. No chance of catching your fingers in all those teeth. If the trap is sprung the bait can't be stolen. To set, the trap must be held upright, perpendicular to the ground, press it open until you hear a click. I put a wire in one of the provided holes and have to check that it doesn't get into the way of setting the trap. Anchored wire keeps a creature from dragging away my trap. I completely love these traps. They are so effective.

If it gets a larger rodent...we had 1 , the larger rodent maybe able to move for a moment, but not far. The ease of baiting the traps without it closing on your fingers is great. the baitcup goes in on the underside and turns 90 degrees. We put peanut butter cups into it and it worked like a charm.

I really liked this mousetrap because it's easy to set and catches mice and voles with or without bait. The only drawback that I found is the cold outside in the winter tends to make it more fragile. The traps, at the foundation of the house, caught so many mice in the fall that I haven't found any getting in the house.
