Stayed dry

I bought this jacket for my trip to Wales. It rained every day but I stayed dry - this jacket sounds a little ‘crunchy' when you get it but it was not when you wear it - it withstood the heavy rains & I remained dry!! The only problem was that the Velcro gave out on the left sleeve so I couldn't tighten it but I will sew it closed. I would still recommend! I bought 2 sizes bigger to accommodate a sweater or sweatshirt although it was warm enough with just the Columbia PFG Tidal long sleeve shirt in 50 degree rainy weather!

Springtime

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have too many black jackets and coats so I needed something nice for spring. This “snowdrift” color is a light lavender, which I hoped from seeing it online. I own quite a bit of Columbia clothing, jackets, and coats. It's a quality brand that I can depend on.

**IMPRESSED!!! BUY THIS IMMEDIATELY!**

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the weather changed for our Portugal trip I needed a rain jacket fast! This jacket exceeded my expectations. It POURED rain on us and i stayed completely dry! The hood and extended visor prevented all rain from getting to my face and hair.I have waist length, super curly, thick hair and this hood kept it all in and dry! the length was perfect and prevented my lower body from getting wet. I sized up from a XL to a 2XL as I wanted room to layer and wear sweaters or sweatshirts underneath. The deep pockets were perfect for extra travel items! I got a whole water bottle inside one! The most important part is it dried of super fast and was ready for the next day of rain! It is packable and folds down to a super small size! I highly recommend this jacket. If it can keep me dry during a relentless, 7 day, Portugal downpour, it will keep you dry most anywhere! BUY IT!
