Purchase this for a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old and guess what? The 1-year-old was using it and was able to stay on the beam. The stepping stones have a black grip So they're not going to fall and it's not going to scratch your floors. The beam has two sides. One side is numbers and letters and the other side has little shapes that you can remove . Each beam is completely different and it's so easy to put together and there's many different ways that you can put this beam together. You can make letters. You can make numbers. You can just keep it long. You can make a circle this. I 100% recommend this as a toy for the kids to play They love setting it up in different ways. And it's hours of fun

Such a lovely balance beam! 2 in 1, toy and sensory learning experience. It is very nice quality, well designed and sturdy. The beams are double sided for double the fun.
