Patchouli is a bushy herb from mint family with stems that can grow up to 3 feet. Patchouli oil is a key raw material in perfumery, scented product, and aromatherapy. The dark color of patchouli oil is from the extraction process inside a cast iron vessel. Our dark patchouli oil is usually aged for more than 3 years. Good In Nature is using a highly controlled steam distillation system to extract the oil. The steam is produced at higher pressure to lower the temperature, so the aromatic molecule extracted from the plant does not get damage from hot temperature. Patchouli oil is widely used in perfumery and scented products.

Nice product
Still Looking for the smell of Patchouli that I remember from the 60s and 70s. this is actually pretty close. But my quest continues. I do like this product. I just wish the smell lasted a little longer. But a far as I can tell this is Aged Indonesian dark patchouli oil. Some dark Patchouli oils are so rich that the smell ca n be overbearing. that's not the case with this one. I will purchase again. Good In Nature seems to be very helpful with any questions you may have.
