Grateful but Disappointed

First of all, I was surprised that the final season arrived so quickly. Thanks Walmart! When I ordered season seven, I had to wait the full ten days even though I was still a KY resident. However, it was worth the wait because all of the episodes played and the discs were not scratched. So, I ordered the final season through Site to Store because many stores do not carry "Girlfriends" or had them for more than $30 (before tax). After I received the package, I heard a loose disc so I opened the DVD. I found that disc two was not properly snapped into the case so there was minor scratches. Elsewhere, some of the episodes are missing their titles in the episode guide! These are "Bagdad My Bad," "Good Grief," and "Away Game" from The Game. They are replaced with boxes! I was DISAPPOINTED because I have not had a problem with season seven or season six.

Girlfriends: The Last Season:(

This DVD was delivered to me in a timely fashion and in excellent condition. It actually arrived ahead of schedule. Thank You Walmart! I really had no intention on purchasing this last season of Girlfriends due to the fact that it is not a complete season. However, I have great love and respect for this show and decided I would purchase this last season to complete my collection. My problem is that Girlfriends was on the air 8 years and for it to end this way is an abomination!! This DVD includes no extras, commentary, bloopers NOTHING! I thought that maybe the DVD would include the last episodes that were never aired due to the shows cancellation. ONCE AGAIN I WAS WRONG! As a fan of the show I feel I was left hanging but purchased the DVD due to my love for the show and the actresses that portrayed positive African American characters for 8 years!! I still give this DVD 5 stars because Girlfriends was a wonderful show that is definitely missing on television today.

I am so very thankful to WalMart for even having this particular product. WalMart always have the better price, and I so love the site to store pickup. Thank you Walmart, because I am really a big Girlfriend fan. Now I have all eight seasons of Girlfriend
