Freefare begins with an outline of how America in just one century evolved from its initial free enterprise democracy into a federally regulated, over-controlled, over-taxed society. The progressive movement that began with the election of Woodrow Wilson set us on the path toward our current socialist-leaning society in which most impoverished Americans believe that they are entitled to government-granted benefits that will allow these disenfranchised residents to live a lifestyle equivalent to middle class working Americans.
