Great idea for windy areas.
We have our 10 x10 pop up gazebo on a deck, and it is very windy some days. These hold the gazebo down quite nicely. I put the sand in large zip lock bags. (A two gallon zip lock bag and a one gallon bag in each round section, there are 8 sections all together ). It took 4 bags of sand from the Wal-Mart garden shop, one for each leg. We leave the gazebo up most of the time, and only take it down in inclement weather.
