I bought two of these pendants to go over my new kitchen island, as part of a complete kitchen remodel. I wanted a light, coastal vibe. These pendants are lovely; simple but sophisticated. They give off a lovely light, and the shadow above has an interesting pattern. The color is crisp white, and the inner shade also is white, so they reflect even more light. The hanging rod is solid, so be aware that adjustments will be slightly limited by the length of each rod (several come with the light). They were also packaged exceptionally well, padded thoroughly, and arrived without damage. I could not be happier!
