Cute little lamp, but plan on the hassle of repacking and returning it. No place in the instructions give you an option to contact the manufacturer so if you have a defective part, you can't get a replacement part. Mine came with the finial attached and directs you to unscrew it so that you can place the lamp shade. No one in my house was able to unscrew the finial. Liquid wrench didn't work. Tapping didn't work, Plyers didn't work. Chilling didn't work. It sure looks and seems to be welded together. So, time disassemble, repack in all of the Styrofoam, and return. What a hassle!! And so very frustrating.
