Sturdy and Heavy Enough to Withstand Strong Wind

I purchased this umbrella stand because it was about half the price of other stands yet measurement and weight were similar to the more expensive ones. I spray painted it black to keep it from rusting (which were complaints of other purchasers) and to match the others I have in my backyard. It was easy to put together, is sturdy, and nice looking with the coat of glossy black paint. The plastic insert to keep the umbrella in place is too narrow for the 9 foot umbrella I will be using, but that is my only disappointment.
