I have loved this pattern for more than 12 years....

I use it every day and am presently replacing some chipped items. Holding these pristine bowls made me order four more place settings to always have flawless pieces of those I use most. This pattern combines well with everything I own and I have grown used to the feel, the weight, the sound and the creamy hue of these dishes. BTW - chipping these dishes is not easy - it takes a special talent only found in angry teenagers.

So many of the china patterns have eliminated a smaller size cereal bowl and only include a small fruit sized bowl. Mikasa Italian Countryside fruit bowls are exactly the right size for a smaller bowl of cereal. They also can compliment Mikasa Yardley china pattern. Great purchase!

These bowls hold about 10 ounces. Perfect for breakfast cereal! I can finish the cereal BEFORE it gets soggy and pour some more!!! Holds up to microwaving, refridgerator or dishwasher. They are also very pleasing to look at first thing in the morning.
