1st impression

I bought this watch because it looked like a real nice piece, I received the watch and it did not disappoint. It looks and feels like good quality for the purchase price. I even received a discount from the regular price which I was willing to pay full price for this watch. Now comes waiting to see if this watch will hold up to frequent use and normal wear and tear. I have worn only 4 or 5 times and already my watch band is not functioning great. It is a leather band and when I go to put the prong through the hole in the band it does not want to go through the hole and wants to wander on a different angle. The band seems like it is quality and I will not denounce this watch over this, it is just disappointing that the band seems to be having issues this early. I still think this watch is amazing and I get compliments most days I wear it.

This is now my second Stuhrling watch and I've got to say... for the price it's outstanding. I thought i would try it almost as an experiment and wasn't expecting much considering the price. Having collected watches for many years and having a vast variety of watches ranging from Rolex, Brietling and Audemars it was surprising to see such a cheap watch carry itself so well in both appearance and build quality. Although the cheapest of my watch collection it holds its own. The service provided has also been fantastic!! Well done Stuhrling!!!

I have always been a pocket watch guy. So, suffice to say, it takes a lot to make me shift my allegiance. This watch surely attracts a lot of attention, in terms of how it looks. I wear it for an average of 9.5 hours a day; and find it ticking 12 hours later. The box looks elegant too. The dispatch and delivery were prompt. If there is one nit to pick, it's regarding the strap. I wish it was more in line with the silver finish; and not a black leather one.
