A Little Treasure Chest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This box was the perfect size for what I wanted - a box to put a brass sextant in. It's a little "pirate's chest" so it has a charming 'nautical' motif to it. Very well put together and surprisingly sturdy for it's size. It is unfinished, so I am able to choose whatever color stain or paint I would like to make it truly my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the box as part of the decorations on my Pirate themed table at an annual ladies lunch (our theme this year: Life's a Beach). I left the box unpainted (painting it may be a future project) and filled it with gold coins, strands of pearls and jeweled rings. On top I placed a small parrot (also purchased at Michael's). The table was a hit, with the treasure chest playing a starring role.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little treasure chest was perfect for what I needed. I wanted some pirate decorations and I filled this with plastic "treasure" of gold coins and colorful gems. It's exactly what I was looking for and I didn't have to make any changes to it. If one wanted, they could stain it and make the wood look more weathered, but I thought it was great as-is.
