They're water shorts, but work on land too 😉

I have a 35-inch waist (32" inseam) and these fit just right. Just enough looseness not to be saggy, and lands just above the knee. Not doing the flashback Daisy Dukes that men are doing these days. As for color fade, there wasn't any during initial wash. As far as how the color holds up in a swimming pool, that all depends on how much chlorine is in the water. I'd imagine these would quickly fade if worn in a public pool. I'm going to see if this brand is offered in a solid color, just to have a variety.

I bought these board shorts because I liked the color scheme

I bought these board shorts because I liked the color scheme. Then, when I got them and tried them on, I liked them even more. They fit almost perfect. I have a 32 waist and they are not too tight or loose. The draw string keeps them comfortable without having them move around too much. I like the idea of the liner inside to keep everything in place without having to be bothered with any extra clothing.
