Backwashing my pool was making a mess of my lawn. No grass was growing and the chemicals were harming the lawn. I bought a 100ft hose to take the water to the street. The first time I used it, it worked perfectly. BUT my pool guy told me that the squirrels love the material it was made of and would probably eat at it!!!! Oh, No!!.. He suggested I roll it up after each use and cover it up to be less visible to them. I plan on doing this.....but it's a pain to do it.

Worked perfectly to route water away from pool when using backwash, rinse, and waste cycles. TIP: Turn filter to waste or backwash and let that small amount of water flow to open up this drain hose before turning pump on to full flow. the hose is flat and this will open it up and avoid it popping off of pump hose due to sudden pressure while flat.
