Microsoft Surface 2 is a new tablet that comes to succeed last Surface RT. That's right, Microsoft is keeping Windows RT around, and so the Surface 2 will be powered by the updated Windows RT 8.1 OS. Rather than treating us to some kind of a complete redesign, Microsoft is keeping all the good stuff about the Surface RT and has upgraded the device where necessary. The back of the Surface 2 sports a kickstand, which supports two angles making using it on a desk or your lap a lot easier than the original Surface. Stereo speakers are fitted in the left and right-hand sides of the tablet, which are loud and clear for a tablet, making watching TV or movies satisfying, even if they aren’t truly room filling.
