TEPE Dental Tape Woven Tooth Floss – Natural Waxed Beeswax Mint for Teeth, 40m

After being shocked about the use of Teflon in floss products, I went in search for something safer while maintaining the rigidity and price to get flossing. I’ve never heard of TePe but from the high reviews realised this was a popular brand amongst regular flossers. I too have been extremely impressed by how well and how long this tape has allowed me to floss, all while being safer than other products. I learn again about the importance of flossing recently when I saw the amount of gunk that gets left behind brushing that lead to issues like I had with receding gums.The tape is flat and with a gentle nudge gets in between tight teeth and gums for effective flossing. I have been highly impressed by the fact the tape has never torn on me and has consistently allowed me to applying enough pulling force on either ends around me finger to reach hard to reach areas. The tape still feels gentle being flat and is lightly scented with mint to maintain freshness after brushing. Fortunately, the floss is also extremely easy to cut from the ingenious holder that allows you to roll out and break off your desired amount.

Other flosses claim they are a dental "tape", but they always seem to be the shortest string and cause severe pain to my gums. These flosses actually have some width. Although it is a bit thicker than the ones I had before, it is still comfortable and covers a larger surface area of each tooth while flossing.
