A FunRead About the 1973 Mets

As someone who was a young Mets fan back in 1973, I have fond but inexact memories of a season that saw the Mets lose to the Oakland A's 4-3 in the World Series. This book starts with Willie Mays being traded to the Mets in 1972 and takes the reader through the 1973 season. The author uses newspaper articles as the sources for a fun journey back in time. He also includes links to sources like magazines and videos that can be viewed on the internet to add to the story. An example is the famous fight between Buddy Harrelson and Pete Rose in game 3 of the 1973 playoffs. The author includes a link to a YouTube video of the fight and the fan reaction. The author also includes his own memories from that season. This makes the book more enjoyable. I am enjoying revisiting the 1973 Mets season. I remember much about the season. I am also learning a lot by reading this book. This is an enjoyable read for anybody who remembers the 73 mets or wants to learn about them.
