The restaurant business is an insane business. A rising star Seattle chef fires a night janitor in a busy and popular Seattle landmark restaurant. The sacked janitor is also a drug dealer. Several customers owe him money. The drug dealer and his partner end up murdering one of their customers who wouldn't pay. A Lieutenant in the Cartel decides to shield the murderer. A smart young Seattle detective is investigating the case and begins to make progress only to be stymied by pressure from corrupt senior officials. A Seattle DA and the FBI get involved trying to expose the corruption. The Seattle chef is being blackmailed by the murderer; The upscale restaurant owner is implicated.
