NOTE:

Before you replace yours double check the fuse by the switch.

The burnt hot rod may be difficult to remove. Cut off the end with diagonal pliers, as swelling is common. Wrapping the wire around the electrical connector prior to removal will make the entire process smoother. For best performance, only 1/8" to 1/4" of the wire should be visible when the cartridge is replaced.
