this remote control on off/ dimmer is very controllable. we are currently using it as a night light in the bedroom so there is no bright shocking light if you need to find the dog or your way to a light switch. the separate controls work great so once you've determined the brightness that you would like to have now you can work just the on-off side for repeated brightness all the time. the nice part is it always starts up at the position it was left off at that is an option I did not know it had but I am very happy that it has it. $20.00 fair price. small remote has a little chain and ring to hang on a hook or purse, or key ring.

Fantastic Dimmer Switch For Your Lighting Needs

This unit is exactly what I wanted. I have a huge room upstairs in the back part of my 1895 home that I use for a laundry room. There aren't any overhead lights, so I have to walk into a dark room and turn on a light I rigged up over my dryer. Now I plugged this wall switch into a wall plug across the room and hung the dimmer switch next to the door. I can turn on a light (and dim it) and no longer risk breaking my neck walking into a dark room at night.
