I gave these boots 4 stars because they are exactly what I expected. I needed some inexpensive steel toe work boots for minor landscaping and construction projects. These do the trick. A couple of quick points before you buy. The sizing is a little weird. I did a little research and it was recommended to size down at least a full size and a half. I usually wear a size 10.5. I went with a size 9 and they fit perfectly. Not designed for comfort. I ended up adding some work boot insoles and it makes a huge difference. They're also really heavy, which was okay for my purposes. And, the soles WILL leave marks, especially noticeable on lighter colored flooring. Not a deal breaker, but something to keep in mind.
