A Doohickey Laptop Stand is a very good value.

I bought a DooHickey Stand for $5 at Family Dollar and now use it to support my very heavy old HP Elite Book. I had to make some "modifications" in order to keep the laptop in the frame as the stand is made for newer/lighter laptops like my wife has. The Dohickey Stand that I bought for more money from Walmart is now supporting her newer/lighter laptop and meets all expectations...a very good value.
