Pentel - Sunburst Metallic Gel Pen - Metallic Violet

I ordered a batch of these pens to use for book signings, since the green metallic ink matches my novel's cover, but found that they don't write well with large, fast strokes. After testing some other brands, I think that's more or less true of all gel pens, not just Pentel's. I considered returning my order because I don't have any practical use for a ton of green pens. However, I tried writing with them normally and fell in love. These pens write beautifully and have richly pigmented ink that flows smoothly onto the page. The metallic shine looks fantastic. I keep making excuses to use them so I can admire the ink - calendar, grocery list, doodles, you name it, it's all green now. I'm never returning these suckers. You can pry them from my cold, dead hands. In summary I recommend them highly for all purposes aside from autographing books. Then you are probably better off with boring old Sharpies.
