The vehicles are very cute and a nice size. I love that they have rechargeable batteries (although the controllers still take AA batteries). The option to have sirens, lights or quiet is a nice detail. They ran great forward and reverse on the tile floor, but had trouble in reverse on the rug. It's a Christmas present for my young grandsons and I imagine they will mostly use them on the driveway where there are no obstacles to avoid.

I purchased this for my son's birthday. He loves anything cars and trucks. I purchased the Fire %26 Police Car combination pack on sale for $19.59, and I do not think it is worth anymore than that. We have not used the remote yet, but I do love that he can play with both cars without the remote. The figurines are also removable - which is good and bad as the figurines are on the smaller size, but because they can be removed, it means you can remove them and play without them.
