Nice bed for the money

This bed took my daughter & her boyfriend almost 3 hours to put together, and they are pretty talented at it! It is fairly sturdy and the appearance is similar to the one pictured. I thought the drawers would be bigger, but they will be useful for sweaters, jeans, etc....not extra bedding, though. All in all, I am pleased with the purchase & grateful for my daughter who put it together.

Nice bed

Very good design and quality. some of the paint arrived chipped but it is minimal. functionality of the storage drawers and the low bed gives this piece a very modern and trendy design for a kids bedroom. The size of the box dictates the use of a queen mattress instead of a full. When using a full mattress , the mattress will be smaller than the surface of the bed which will keep around 3 inches of the bed surface exposed all around and might not be comfortable for some when getting out of the bed. If a queen size mattress is used all the edges will match the size of the mattress.

walmart should explain full/queen

For those who buy this or ant other platform bed that lists "full/queen" I would like to let you know what they don't tell you. The boards that make up the top of the platform come in 4 pieces for the queen setup and if you only want a full setup you can leave out 1 of the middle pieces. Had I known this in advance, I would have only bought a full matress not a queen.
