Good value for the money

I feel that the filing cabinet represents good value and presents a nice appearance. The only negative I find is that it is legal size, meaning that the letter size files I use, when dropped into legal size hanging folders required for this unit, tend to slide around a bit from side to side. Not a major disadvantage, but something to consider. Would have been perfect if it were sized for letter size files!

This worked for my restricted height space.

I couldn't find a legal size cabinet except this one to fit in my restricted height space. There is only one main issue regarding assembly. Be sure to put the bottom panel with the black finished side toward the inside or the unfinished edge shows in front when assembled. The instructions did not specify this and I did not realize the problem until it was too late. But I have this cabinet in my closet so it doesn't matter and if I want, I can always paint the that shows black.

So, the instructions are all pictures and some of those are awfully small and pretty hard to tell which way a particular piece is pointing. I took my time putting it together and got three pieces the wrong way. But they were relatively easy to take out and put in the right way. Be careful screwing on the cabinet handles. The plastic isn't so strong, so one of mine split a little when I screwed it in too hard. Otherwise, it looks really nice and I like that it is legal size so large and small files will fit. I'd buy this again.
