Nice CB for small spaces
I bought this for my wife's car. She is a writer for Overdriveonline and Truckingnewshub and manages HardShellLife on social media and travels a lot for her job and needed a CB. We didn't want anything that would take up cab space and I started researching. This radio was number one rated many times and was in the top 3 in every review I read. The main unit is tucked away under the seat and the Mic can be tucked under when she isn't traveling. The range is very good. This past week I was driving and met a guy we know going the opposite direction and we talked for about 3 miles. So roughly 6 miles since we were going away from each other. The microphone mounted speaker works good. Better for her (my hearing is bad) but it does have a plug in on the radio for an external speaker if wanted. Receiving is great on it. I am actually going to buy another one and just this morning recommended this radio to a friend who also has space problems in his vehicle. I'm not terribly tech savvy so all the controls in the Mic are a little confusing for me but she loves all the features in the Mic and since it was for her I'm happy if she is happy!
