Change Your World (CD)

P E T E R F O L D Y B I O G R A P H Y Peter Foldy was born in Budapest and raised in Sydney Australia where he was influenced toward a career in music after forging a friendship with three young brothers who would later find international success as the BEE GEES. After a family move to Toronto, Canada, Foldy enrolled in film school but was soon signed as a singer/songwriter to a small record label. His first recording, quot;BONDI JUNCTIONquot; quickly reached Number 1. on the Canadian music charts and Foldy received two Juno Award nominations (the equivalent of the American Grammy's). An album, and several other singles quickly followed and Foldy quit film school to tour and play music. Before long he was lured to Capitol/EMI (Canada), and several of his recordings climbed to Top 10 status on music charts across Canada and the USA. Foldy soon moved to Los Angeles and landed a record deal on RCA's brand new Free Flight label. He continued his musical momentum, not only writing and performing, but also co-producing his music for the first time. Once in Hollywood, Foldy decided to turn his attention back on film, writing and quickly selling a screenplay, HOT MOVES, which became a considerable hit. More screenplays followed and eventually Foldy began directing films. His feature film credits include quot;MIDNIGHT WITNESSquot; starring Jan-Michael Vincent, quot;TRYSTquot; with Barbara Carrera and Academy Award winner, Louise Fletcher, quot;WIDOW'S KISSquot; with Beverly D'Angelo, quot;SEEDS OF DOUBTquot; with Peter Coyote and quot;SILVER MAN' starring Eugene Levy and Daniel Baldwin. This record, 'CHANGE YOUR WORLD' was a successful T-Home jingle in Hungary where the positive reaction to the song led to this single being recorded. A video of Foldy performing the tune can be seen on You Tube. Peter is currently in the planning stages of recording several new tunes for release later in 2009.
