Exactly what I Needed!

USB to Ps/2 converter, just what I needed to use my "good old fashion" wired keyboard that I can not part with! Anyone who can not part with an old keyboard or mouse this is the perfect solution. Plug and play installation with a USB port. Works flawlessly, (no "skipping or delay with keys, etc. ), solid connection, great price, fast and free shipping to local store, and much cheaper than at your local "tech stores". Had mine for over a month now - no problems! Yes - recommend.

Review of TRENDnet USB to PS/2 keyboard converter

I bought this converter after researching the possibility of using my old heavy duty IBM PS/2 keyboard with my laptop & a USB port. The comments I found recommended I get a converter & not just an adapter, especially if the keyboard was very old. Mine is about 20 years old & it was so well made I couldn't part with it. I'm glad I kept it because USB keyboards for sale these days are flimsy with spongy keys that don't work well for high-speed typing. My PS/2 keyboard is working great with my laptop & I am happy to be typing as fast as I can again with it & the TRENDnet USB to PS/2 keyboard converter.

This converter works great.

This is a true converter, not an adapter, so your computer will recognize and use your PS/2 mouse and keyboard just fine. This has a circuit board in it that tells your computer it is connected to a USB device. Adapters that sell for less do not have this and they do not work.
