GE Appliances WB31K10033 Range Surface Burner Grate

If I could give this item 0 stars I would. In two months these grates started chipping and peeling leaving black debris ALL OVER MY STOVE TOP! Talk about POOR WORKMANSHIP! This is still under warranty and I want new grates shipped to me immediately! Unfortunately, I did not have any say in the purchase of this item. My management company secured the purchase because a contractor damaged the stove I had.

The other extremely annoying defect (I call this a defect when it is actually a design flaw, but still acts like a defect because there are safety issues involved) are the burner grates.. The grates being an 1-7/8 " higher than the stove top and slippery and having 4" spaces at the outside of the grate pose an actual safety concern besides being extremely annoying as your skillet slips and slides off the grate at the slightest bump potentially spilling hot grease and or hot food on the floor or your person or worse baby or child on the floor.. My ten inch pancake skillet will not sit centered on the grate but slides off to one side at an off level angle... These grates are an inexcusable, cheap, dangerous, obvious design flaw that should be addressed by a recall..
