Got this 4-pack on sale here for only $30.59. I do a lot of research and this product seemed to be the best deal for the light output. The brightness is excellent; one of these bulbs appears to be (at least) as bright as 2 fluorescent bulbs, which it replaced. So if you have 4 double tube fixtures, you can upgrade all 4 with only a 4-pack if you don't need it to be super bright. I also like the fact that they turn on instantly, in contrast to the old fluorescent tubes. They also work great in below freezing temperatures, unlike the previous fluorescent bulb. Note: Web description shows 28 Watts, but the included paper indicates 24 Watts, so I'm not sure what is accurate. The paper also states 128 lumens/Watt. One minor drawback in comparison to fluorescent bulbs is that they only light downwards, so if your fixtures are open--like in my garage--there will be less light on the ceiling. Note: you should be comfortable with basic electrical work in order to cut out the existing ballasts; the fixtures must be re-wired to allow straight 120v hot and neutral wires.
