New EUR7659Y90 Replace remote control fit for PANASONIC DMR-EH75 DMR-EH75V DMR-EH75VS

I'm still figuring everything out at this time.

I bought this Panasonic Controller to go with an old VHS/DVD Combination Video Player my son picked up at the Goodwill Thrift Store and the controller doesn't work to shift between the VHS side or the DVD side when you push the button on the controller. I don't know why it isn't working. I thought it would do the job. Also inserting the Batteries in this controller is a pain and the fear of braking is a concern. Sadly Panasonic's website no longer shows this controller. Don't know what to do from here. I tried but it didn't work. Even though it wasn't much money under $15.00 I will just keep it. Cumbersome also to set-up the VHS/DVD system. The system plays well BUT the controller that I purchased through Walmart doesn't work correctly!
