Confirm no blinking display

Good product. Arrived early . I had a similar auto feeder through petmate. So it was easy for me to set up. However for someone first time make sure you read the instructions. Finally before final setup confirm that there are no blinking text on the display. You have to press the 'enter' button one more time to freeze the settings. I did not do that , and the food did not dispense. However , in the instruction manual it mentions that you can manually dispense the food by holding down on the right hand arrow key for 30 secs.

We bought this feeder with a little trepidation because of some of the negative reviews. I have to say we are very pleased with the unit. Its very easy to assemble and program. It works perfectly without and drama.

Great so far

We have a very mellow golden retriever. She loves her food, but would never think to destroy the machine to get some. If an animal was determined to get into it, I think they could. It has worked well and accurately in the few weeks that we have had it. We had to read the instructions to program it, but it didn't seem overly difficult. One funny thing ... when it spits out the food in 1/4 cup increments, it just about gave our dog a heart attack. It is unexpected when it shoots out the food. She has breakfast and supper, two cups in the morning and one cup at night and it doesn't have a problem with that. She uses Blue Buffalo dog food, so the kibbles are fairly small.
