Nexen Roadian HTX2
OVERVIEW
The Nexen Roadian HTX2 is a highway terrain, all weather tire made for light trucks and SUVs. This model has commercial van sizes as well. Nexen offers a 70,000 mile treadwear warranty with SUV sizes and a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with the light truck sizes of this model.
The model offers great all weather performance. The tire utilizes the tread design and the all weather compound to boost dry, wet, and winter weather road grip. The compound elements optimize rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, while the tread firmly grips the road surface throughout the year. On the other hand, the tire also promotes excellent ice- and snow-covered traction. The 3PMSF symbol promotes exceptional winter performance. The circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint in wet situations, which prevents hydroplaning.
The tread design improves the tire's controllability. The optimal tread design enhances the tire's steering responsiveness and driving stability. As the tread pattern maintains road contact, its increases the steering response time and accuracy and stabilizes the structure against the driving pressure affecting it. Larger shoulder blocks and close road contact also boost cornering and maneuvering, which guarantees the driver's excellent control over the vehicle at all times.
The Nexen Roadian HTX2 improves the length of the usability. The ideal footprint allows the tire to evenly distribute driving pressure across the footprint. The equally spread-out forces of acceleration, cornering, and braking resist premature and irregular wear formations. This allows the tire to boost its service life and usability.
All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. They are all season tires with extra winter weather grip, in order to guarantee safer year-round durability. This ensures their true and secure driving ability throughout the year.
Not all tire sizes are suitable for all vehicle types. Please refer to the item specifications for accurate information about vehicle type fitment for this particular size.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
