This Thermaltake USB docking station handles drives with up to 2TB in storage space. Designed to allow maximum heat dissipation and exhaust, it keeps cool during operation and also takes up less space on a desk. Compliance with RoHS standards makes the unit more environmentally friendly. The SATA hard drive docking station works with many Windows operating systems as well as Mac OS 10.3 or newer. Drives are hot-swappable for quick exchanges.

Thermaltake Sata Drive dock
Very good product for docking a hard drive. The base is heavy, so it won't tip over. I use it for backing up two computers, and it works flawlessly and is easy to use. It would've been better if it had a eSata port, but even with 'just' a USB port it is acceptably fast.

It's about time
Now you don't have to keep buying external USB drives to use them one at a time. This docking station allows you to just drop a drive in and presto it is readable by your computer. It even does 2.5 inch notebook drives letting me recover my data. This is a great product for the price!

When Your PC Dies
Found this item to be invaluable when moving data from old PC to new one. Just took out old hard drive and mounted it in the docking station and then copied files wanted to new hard drive. Can also be used to clone a new hard drive. Still relied on a good backup, but used this for files which were outside the backup scheme.
