pleasant surprise

I preparation for my New Years diet :) I got this to cut down on sugar. When you put your finger in the jar it feels like grainulated white sugar. The taste is like sugar but less defined and less sweet. If a recipe calls for 1/2 c sugar I use 1/3 c and a couple of scoops of trehalose. The scoop is included. The sweet flavor is there but not as pronounced. No one has complained or noticed!! Every saved calorie helps!!

Helped us eat less sugar!

I mix this with our table sugar so we get less sugar overall. The kids haven't even noticed! Unlike the whole "sneak soy milk into the regular milk" fiasco. ;-) It's actually a little whiter than table sugar, but very similar in texture.\n\nIt is definitely a bit pricey, but if it can help them get less sugar in their herbal tea or cereal, then it's worth it.
