A surprisingly good read

regarding the anime, don't listen to this dipshit, the manga is formatted this way upon request of the author. Do keep in mind that it can be something that can be either troubling or off putting to newcomers, which is perfectly understandable if you've never consumed the medium before, but the other review is very biased over an aspect that has nothing to do with the actual quality of the manga itself. The manga is very well done, and I have read the link to the past line of manga. In regards to representing the game, it is not similar. Dungeons are a few panels long, and bosses aren't there in a traditional sense, so if you're expecting this to be like a traditional zelda experiance, then you'll be out of luck. But what it does offer is a surprisingly deeper link, and his journey being more on the lines of accepting weakness, and braving the unknown. Along with themes of forgiveness, and companionship, its surprisingly a good read, that if you are remotely interested in, is definetly a good read as long as you can get used to the back to front format. (unless of course you already read manga, in which case this shouldn't be a problem)
