We just purchased it and put this on our bed so not sure for long-term usage but wow... It feels kind of like you're lying on a thin pillow which is really nice. Our mattress is almost 5 years old and we're not quite ready to replace it. This mattress topper is a dream. It's very fluffy and comfortable. We washed and dried before putting on our bed but there was no chemical smell or anything off-putting. It seemed to wash well and took a couple of drying cycles to fully get dry. Looking forward to seeing how this topper holds up. Definitely recommend!
