Well, it's a marvel--but aren't all GPS devices? More features than I'll ever actually need. A couple of cautions--the 700 is not very useful unless you spend another hundred bucks for a micro SD with topo Maps. Then it's great--i've got all of CA, OR, WA, NV. The other caution is--make sure it's actually OFF if you're not using it, not in sleep mode. Otherwise you're gonna use a lot of batteries!
