I bought this based off of other peoples reviews and I must say it does a good job. I purchased this and a new carpet shampooer and I'm amazed with both!! I have 6 kids and on the weekends I can have up to 14 kids! So yes there was stains and lots of traffic and now my carpet looks new again! I'll share a pic on the left is where I had shampooed and on the right hadn't been touched yet. You can see for yourself how good it does.

WALMART IS THE STILL THE GO TO PLACE FOR LOW PRICE

I went on amazon to find the lowest price for this product. obviously, products like rug doctor are good products but outrageously overpriced. even amazon didn't include any companies with competitive pricing. actually, one site was trying to sell one gallon for 35 or 40 dollars! however, there are always links at the bottom of the amazon page for other companies like walmart. the price thru walmart was cheaper than the 50 oz. brand name products & free shipping! to me, rug shampoo is rug shampoo. most of the advertising is just hype. I bought zep for 2.99 for a half gallon at a wholesale store that buys up inventory from other stores. what a steal. this stuff works every bit as good as rug doctor. the internet is the place to go for cheap prices. always check them first.
