I've been cleaning my ice maker with a vinegar and water solution, but it wasn't getting rid of all the build up, and I was having persistent issues with recurring mold in the ice bin, making the ice unusable. Someone recommended this product and it is fantastic! The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the included sponge fits exactly in the ice dispenser, which is important for keeping the solution in contact with that area for 18 hours after the initial cleaning. After cleaning and soaking for 18 hours, my ice maker is the cleanest it has been since I purchased it and my ice is clear and usable again! Life saver of a product.
