This is becaUse the linen fibers are much longer than cotton Canvas fibers, Allowing them to resist deterioration for at least 5 centuries and as much as 2,000 years, with the proper care. In addition to this, these linen Canvases have a non-mechanical Surface with a lovely Texture that performs excellently with glazing and impasto techniques.
